Initial certification is for those companies that are not certified.
Independently of the standard, the initial certification usually consists of two stages:
- Stage 1 - Review the design of the management system against the relevant standard
- Stage 2 - Review the implementation of the management system
Both stages are usually conducted on-site, although for some small companies or simple systems the registrars may conduct the Stage 1 audit at their office reviewing only your documentation.
Once certified, you will have follow up audits known as surveillance visits. These visits can be performed every six months or annually (at your discretion) and the certification is valid for three years.
The quotes received from our participating registrars will include both stages and surveillance visits covering your three year certification cycle.
All of our affiliated registrars and consultants have been pre-screened to ensure that they can provide the services that you need.
