 Transferring a certificate is for companies that are currently certified and within their 3 year certification cycle, but want to change registrars.
Transferring certificates in mid-cycle is possible and most registrars do not charge any fees to do so.
Your current certificate will be recognized and accepted by most other registrars as long as:
- It is a certificate from an accredited registrar
- There are no open major non - conformances from your last surveillance audit
Registrars will submit a quote for your next surveillance audit considering that you are already certified, so in most cases, there are no additional costs or interruptions in your certification.
